An evening of trusteeship
Perhaps you’re thinking about becoming a charity trustee, but you’re not sure what it might involve or where to start. Perhaps you’re keen to do more for charity, but you want to give more than money.
This 7 November seminar will help you to explore what trusteeship could mean for you—how it could develop your career, what liabilities you might face, what would be expected of you, and what the many benefits are for you, for your employer and for the charity. There will also be practical information on how to become a trustee.
As well as hearing from expert panellists, there will be plenty of opportunity for Q&As, plus time for networking and discussion over a glass of wine.
The seminar will be chaired by Rob Abercrombie, Co-Director of Research and Consulting at NPC and trustee of Cripplegate Foundation. The panellists are:
- Sarah King, Chief Executive of Reach, the skilled volunteering charity
- Mark Webster (Trustee) and Gracia McGrath (Chief Executive) of Chance UK, the mentoring charity
- Kate Bolsover (Deputy Chair) and Abi Levitt (Marketing & Communications Director) from the employment charity Tomorrow’s People
